We will now need to isolate the network. This is important to figure out where the disconnection issue is occuring. Eliminating WiFi as being the cause of this is first up.
To do this, you will need to plug a laptop or computer into the router.
Find a spare ethernet cable and plug it into your laptop/computer. Plug the other end into an available LAN port, this should be labeled 1-4. On our WiFi Hub+ it looks like this:
The reason we do this is because we want to see if a cabled connection performs better through cable compared to WiFi.
Use your device plugged in to see how it performs, you may need to use it for some time to figure out if it drops out alongside your WiFi devices.
If it's not possible to connect to the router, select "No". You might not have a computer or laptop capable to use ethernet, or it might not be physically possible to plug into the router, we will presume the issue is with the WiFi, and this will guide you through WiFi troubleshooting.
Do you still experience disconnection issues on this device?
