Can I transfer from my existing provider?

I don't have fibre with my existing provider

Once you sign up with MyRepublic, we'll check for fibre availability at your address. If you are fibre ready, we'll place the order with the appropriate Local Fibre Company for installing fibre at your location.  After installation, you can plug your MyRepublic router into the ONT to connect with our network and start using our services.

If you want to port (keep your existing) your number, you can cancel your connection with your existing internet provider by giving them your thirty day notice once the number porting has been completed. Do not cancel before the port is in place or you may risk losing your number!

If you're not getting a voice service from us, you can cancel your connection with your existing internet provider by giving them your thirty day notice once your LFC has provided a ready for service date for your fibre installation.

I'm already using fibre with my existing provider

If you're already have fibre with another provider, we place a transfer order with the Local Fibre Company to port your number to our services. The fibre provider then transfers your connection over to our network.

Once we communicate the Fibre installation date to you, you can cancel your connection with your existing internet provider by giving them your thirty day notice. After the LFC complete the transfer, you can plug in your MyRepublic router with the ONT in order to connect with our network and start using our services.

Please note MyRepublic doesn't assume any responsibility in communicating with your existing provider to cancel your existing connection. Once the cancellation with them has been put through, we can then port your number to our services.
