What's included in the consents letter from Chorus?

When Chorus identifies the owners and parties of interest to gain consent for installing fibre for your address, Chorus sends a consent letter to each party to approve.

  • if your address has a right of way, Chorus includes a consents brochure for right of way and a form that your neighbors can fill and send back. Alternatively, they can fill up online consent form at Chorus's website.

  • For owners of MDUs or body corporate, Chorus sends the letter with a contract which covers the additional complexities of installing fibre within large buildings or complexes. There may also be a discussion on contribution costs for installing fibre.
