How can I set up call waiting for my phone?

Call Waiting

Call waiting allows you to answer an incoming call while you are on an existing call. The process to set up call waiting on your voice line is dependent on your Local fibre company.

If you are on Chorus, use the following procedure to set up & use call waiting:

  • Depending on the phone device you are using, you can answer the incoming waiting call by either pressing the R button or the Flash button, followed by 2.
  • To toggle between the calls, use the same procedure of pressing the appropriate button on your device (R button or Flash button), followed by 2.
  • To drop the current active call, press the appropriate button on your device (R button or Flash button), followed by 1.

 For other providers, use the following procedure to set up & use call waiting:

  • Depending on the phone device you are using, you can answer the incoming waiting call by either pressing the R button or the Flash
  • To toggle between calls, press the appropriate button on your device (R button or Flash button)
